Nursing - Basic B.Sc. Nursing
REQUIREMENT FOR FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORM
Ved Nursing College received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Haryana Government & is approved by the Haryana Nursing Registration Council HNRC Chandigrah & INC New Delhi (2006). The College is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana & is functioning as per norms laid down by the INC New Delhi & is academically governed by the Kurukshetra University with regard to standard syllabus, examination etc.
On completion of the four year B.Sc. Nursing program the graduate will be able to:
1. Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
2. Demonstrate understanding of life style and other factors, which affect health of individuals and groups.
3. Provide nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration with the individuals and groups.
4. Demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care.
5. Utilize the latest trends and technology in providing health care.
6. Provide promotive, preventive and restorative health services in line with the national health policies and programmes.
7. Practice within the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards of practice within the legal boundaries.
8. Communicate effectively with individuals, groups and members of the health team in order to promote effective interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
9. Demonstrate leadership and managerial skills in clinical/community health settings.
10. Conduct need based research studies in various settings and utilize the research findings to improve the quality of care.
11. Demonstrate awareness, interest and contribute towards advancement of self and of the profession.
The applicant must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with 12 years schooling with four subjects including Physics. Chemistry. Biology and English with atleast 33% marks in each subject Passing separately with 50% aggregate marks for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC.
1. Age: shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the academic year.

3.4 Requirement FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application should be submitted on the prescribed form, along with by the Photostat documents duly attested.
i) Original Matriculation Certificate and Detail Marks Sheet.
ii) Original Character Certificate from the Principal of School/ College last attended,
iii) Original Scheduled Caste/Backward class Certificate duly certified,
iv) Certificate as per rule of Army/Govt. from Zilla Sainik Board regarding eligibility of claim to a seat for the children of Ex-servicemen.
v) Detail marks certificate of (10+2) or any equivalent qualification.
vi) Envelope containing 10 copies of recent passport size photographs, with Admission application form.
Note: Please bring all the original Certificates at the time of interview for verification by the Admission Committee for Submission to Kurukshetra University. In case the candidate has passed qualifying/last examination from other than Board of School Education, Haryana or Kurukshetra University, he/she will have to submit the Migration Certificate from the concerned Board / University within 15 days of admission to the institute.

3.5 Uniform - Loose fitted
White Coat - 4. Sleeves unto elbow and 2" above the knee.
White trousers with light blue scrubs (tops)- 6 or (tight fit not permitted) length of Tops up to mid thighs.
White shoes without any colored designs.
Cardigan Black full sleeves, V neck .
